PSAT Help Please!

I go to a rural high school that doesn't offer the PSAT. A town 20 miles away does offer it. How do I go about registering for the test? Should I go through my counselor, or, what are my options! Help please!

Bumpumpumpump!

First talk to your counselor and see what he can do. He might already know the counselor at nearby schools and might be able to get it done easily. If he's unable to get anything done, then call the counseling office at that school and ask them about taking the test. I know it's not uncommon to do something like this - I remember in the instructions that they read before they test, they have specific instructions for testers from other schools.

no psat.. wow

My son had a similar situation (also in Ozarks. . .) Just call the school where it is offered and talk to their counselor. Make sure you get registered with them--costs about $15. Study hard--a lot of kids forget that this is the test for National Merit Scholarships. A great score on the PSAT can get you a full scholarship at some schools.
