PSAT math discussion

discuss here :)

what would you like to discuss..?

for the problem a+b=140 and ar+br=35, I got r=.25

all of them

i gota .25 as well

ah, so you're discussing today's psat? ohh..well i just got the same answer doing it in my head right now, but i took a diff psat on wed.

Just me, or was this math section REALLY easy compared to the other sections in the test?

^agreed

I simplified to 1/4

did you guys get 141 degrees for the measurement of X? it was one of the grid in problems

some answers i remember writing down on the grid ins were

.5, 1/4, 2400, 52.5, 21

anything match?

i got 141...i think, i did a lot of opposite angles and verticals to get to 141.

I got 1/4

I can't remember the rest but here's some:

11, 5, .25, 141, 2400

I remember getting 12 for the first one o_o

anyone get 80 for the car problem?

i did get 80 for the green cars

I did as well.

anyone get x^2 = y^2 for that last question of first math section?

what were the 2 given triangle dimensions?

for last grid-in, i got 1/2

yeah, i got 80...

for the car one, isn't it 100?

no, the 2-doors is limiting. by the way, the exponent question involving a and x was 4 right?

yeah, I got 4 for that one. I also got 4 for another grid-in question, but i forgot what the question was.

did you guys get 28 for the car problem?
