PSAT math questions!!!!

anything else..?

yes... im still really confused. are you right or is michelle right? did the square roots have to be odd?

you said that the square roots didn't have to be an odd number, but did they individually have to be odd numbers?

and magaret, one is an odd number so you are fine haha.

i could have sworn it was 29 C......it started at 6am...at 11C....7-13. 8-15, 9-17, 10-19, 11-21, 12-23, 1-25, 2-27, 3-29, 4-27, 5-25, 6-23, 7-21, 8-19, 9-17.

im pretty positive it asked for odd numbers that added to 10.

amars, the question was asking for what the temp was for 2 o clock.. sorry man... 29 was for three o clock.

and thanks michelle.... hmmm that sucks. im seventy percent sure i got that wrong. hopefully i put 49 + 9

sigh

np, and at least it doesnt count against you.

the slope was 2.. for the temperature/time one. it was 27.

i'm pretty sure that it didnt matter that it had to be odd or even, but , ... oh well.
i'll be back later.

well, i would be pretty ****ed if after all of the harder questions i got right, i got this one wrong because i didnt read instructions well.. which is what i always do... too bad haha

psat, w/e.

wasnt the slope 2/5? it was perpindicular to the line -5/2

no 5/2 perpindicular to -2/5

yeah it was 5/2.

I put 58 for the odd squares problem, was that right? Also for the edge of the cube, was it 1.5?

i used 58 too, but there are several right answers.
and yeah 1.5 for the cube. i said 3/2, but i think it still counts

For that cube one, wasn't 1.5 the volume? And then you had to find the length?

nope. the volume was 27/8 or 3 3/8

no, 1.5 was the length...the volume ended up being 3.325 (the product of the rectangle's dimensions)

My memory is hazy. They asked for the length right? So 1.5 is a possible answer?

for the question with three choices, i got 2 and 3. Why was it only 2?

They asked for the length of the edge. 1.5 was the right answer.

I used rt(16) and rt(36) = 10. Does that not work? :(

What was the answer to:

x^2 + kx +4 = (c+k)^2 (I think that was it)
