Is a 225 good enough for California?
@LvMyKids2 I’m not sure about that, why would another poster @kimclan1, comment on SI? I’m very confussed!
@Alumon It works for me. 217 in NM
Doesn’t work for me Any one else from Texas getting in?
@Alumon if 225 doesn’t cut it in CA, the rest of us have little to no hope!
@3scoutsmom So when you’re at the normal collegeboard homepage, it has a banner “Most SAT multiple choice scores from the November SAT administration are now available. View your scores.”
Click View Your Scores (I didn’t take the November SAT, so I have no clue if this works if your kid did)
Add /details to the current web address
Click Download Report in the top right corner
The score won’t be showing in any of the browser areas, only in the score report.
217 makes it in my state I think… 710 math, 730 EBRW. Huge flip for me, the score breakdown is it says I omitted 5 math. I didn’t - they were all really easy.
@3scoutsmom I’m in Texas and it doesn’t work for me.
Thanks @CharlotteLetter still not working for me…
Does anyone think it’s likely that cutoffs will rise more than 2 points since last year? I don’t think NM has ever had a cutoff above 215 and I’m hoping it won’t jump to 218…
Thanks @ollie113 I was starting to feel like the only kid in the class not invited to the big party;-)
Per reddit it doesn’t seem to work if the Nov SAT was taken. Sorry if you have to wait the next 2 weeks still…
Oh yeah, forgot to mention that if you took Nov SAT you cant check. Sorry!
The same discussion on reddit provides an avenue for getting the PSAT score for those who took the Nov SAT.
I took the November 2017 SAT and at first could not see my score. However, there is a complicated way that you can get your score even if you took the November SAT:
Go to the same url mentioned earlier that ends in /viewscore/details .
Then enter inspect element by doing ctrl+shift+i or by right clicking and selecting inspect.
Then do search by doing ctrl+f and search “asmtSessionParticipantId”. Followed by this string should be a 32-digit long hexadecimal number consisting of 0-9 and a-f. Copy this string or write it down.
Then type the following url into your address bar:
Student Score Reports[PUT NUMBER HERE]
Where it says [PUT NUMBER HERE], paste in the 32-digit code you extracted earlier.
This worked for me so yeah
Got it thanks to those clever kids on Reddit! Unfortunately not he score we hoped, thankfully his only in 10th grade so we have a year to work with on it.
WOW, this is amazing.
I don’t think either of these methods work anymore- just tried both and it seems like College Board has shut down the report downloading feature so it just brings you back to the score reporting page and tells you to wait
Bummer. Too busy today and didn’t see all of this until too late. The hacks don’t work now!
That’s odd, I just tried again and mine still works.
I’ve learned that as soon as I see anything on CB website to print it out! I’ve already sent email to get a tutoring appointment for DS hopefully knowing his PSAT scores early has helped us avoid the rush;-)
