ok, so I took a practice (actual from 2006 - wednesday) and got 217
last year got a 215 (perfect 80 in writing, did worst in CR)
my math (including 1 grid in) and writing mistakes (except for 1) were stupid mistakes
most of wrong CR were either stupid mistakes or vocab
i often second-guess myself, erasing what ends up being the right answer and picking a wrong one

cutoff this year in my state was 218 i believe, and 217 before that (TX)
how am i doing? is it time to freak out? --- how do i stop making stupid mistakes?
-- i usually have 2-3 mins at the end of each section, use them up freaking out about answers

Thanks, StrangeIndianFoo! I'll try, but there are times when the incredibly complex word "relaxation" simply doesn't exist in my vocabulary :P I'll try, though :)

also, if you are ambivalent on a cr question, go with your gut instinct

Ah, that is something I'll have to work on... thanks!

Wow, I did not know that! Thanks, hpa10! That makes me feel better :D
I thought it was 218 because a friend of mine told she missed NMSF by 4 pts.
(She got a 214 on the PSAT last year, so go figure.) Glad to know she's wrong :P

On a related note, does would-have-been-NMSF status show up on the score report for sophomores? (I got a 215, and in the little box where it stated if I qualified, it said no, but then again, I was a sophomore and wouldn't have been eligible anyway.)
