Granted, this is an SAT board and the PSAT isn't terribly important except for scholarship money. but has anyone had a good experience with one?

I used barrons last year!

While I havent reviewed the PSAT books out this year, I can say that the PSAT books from previous years were scaled down versions of their SAT books, so you probably should just look for an SAT book geared for students who want to score high, like the Kaplan 2400 or Barron's SAT 2400 books.

Most students will just use an SAT book for PSAT prep, and disregard the essay. PR has a good practice PSAT, and if you have a friend who took it 2 years ago, you could get his/hers, copy it, and take an official PSAT.

We (CEEAE.org) have reviews of virtually every SAT prep book on our site. The info is free and unbiased, but if you appreciate our service we ask that you help us out by clicking on the Ads on the right of most pages or if you buy something from Amazon that you use our links.

princeton review makes a good one with 11 practice tests

Actually it has 10 SATs and 1 PSAT, but who's counting?
