Scores are available online, but paper transcripts depend on the school. By this point, most schools have received paper scores or will receive them this week, but many choose not to distribute them immediately; some even wait until the following Fall!

Hmm I see where I can check my SAT scores online but not PSAT ><

The thing’s not running yet. It’s [My College QuickStart](<a href=“College Board - SAT, AP, College Search and Admission Tools”>http://www.collegeboard.com/quickstart) I BELIEVE. Somebody can correct me on that.

i got mine a couple weeks ago from my school.
i did terrible :(

i hate when people say they did bad…

they got a 2100…

wow, you know what i got! that’s amazing!
wait… that’s not my score… wow, you’re really full of ****! because if you knew what you were talking about, the score you say i got wouldn’t be a lot higher than what i actually got.

hey MBP calm down, shim just made an unneccessary generalization. they are PSATs you can take them again.

wait if they’re online now, how do you seem them?

i am just saying… i didn’t mean to hurt you by any means… you just brought a light bulb in my head because in my school, there are these asian kids who say they did so friggin bad, and they say.. like 2000+… and im like ***…

I had a 206. It seems to be some recurring trend to totally bomb the PSAT and do really stellar on the SAT. I took the Oct 6 SAT with a 2110, and then a few weeks later got a 206 on the PSAT for some reason. Perhaps the reason is the brutal PSAT curves.

194 w/o prep. Too bad that’s not enough for NMS.

223
80-m
75-cr
68-wr
i am fairly happy. My states cut-off last year was 213 so i am safe.

how do you find your state’s cutoff?

theres a huge list on here that has approximate cutoff scores on it. ill try and find it for you.

and this is prob a really stupid question but what exactly is the significance of a cutoff. is that like the lowest score they will take??

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/sat-act-tests-test-preparation/385453-official-national-merit-semifinalist-cutoff-scores-2007-a-33.html

Anyone have any idea when this Quickstart thing will be ready?

Supposedly sometime this week. You need your paper copy to access it, though, which renders it useless to everyone whose schools are waiting until January to hand them back.

panicpower: The cutoff is the score you need to become a semifinalist. As you can see, it changes from state to state and it can also vary from year to year (up or down) depending on the curve. Nobody will know exactly how it goes until around September of next year. Only way to be sure is to be way above your state’s number for last year, or for that matter 225 or over.

201 so nmsf

math curve was brutal. i missed one question and got a 75
