PSAT Sat.

what is -1M -1W -3-4CR is that a 221? my state cut off is 221 for semi.

Also, some people say one of the errors on the writing section was “fear of running”. Can someone remind me of the question?

that’s about 226

NE reallY!? ***… that sounds so awkward

I think the one with 3 consecutive number that have a mean of 30 is 90, not 30, right?

yeah that one was 90 yo

Yes, its asking for sum, if im not mistaken.

damn really whatismyname. i thought i had just missed it.

the greek islands one was a, right?

how bout me? 2 wrong reading, 2 wrong FR 1 wrong Math, 4 wrong writing

is that 3 wrong math total or 2?

Someone guestimate me

-2 Math (1 MC, 1 FR … gawsh just like SAT)
-2, -3, or -4 Critical Reading
-0 or -1 Writing

I probably got:

Math -0
Reading -2
Writing -0. Or maybe -1.

Truffliepuff: Around high 22s.

I find it funny that you failed in math like u failed in SAT lol :)

223 at worst with info provided

 • for truffliepuff

@genesis: I know. I’m so ****ing careless ><

Excuse me, but could someone please explain to me why the book question for math had an answer of 4500? Sorry it was probably a really easy question but hopefully I only got two incorrect for math. I believe the question was:

A bookstore has only paperback and hardback books. They sell 40% paperbacks and 60% hardbacks. If they have 10000 books in their inventory and 75% of those are hardbacks, how many books are on sale?

BTW, if I got the 40/60% mixed up then I really did fail hard. :D

If I got a perfect math, -1 or -2 on writing, and -4 or -5 on CR, could I get at least a 220?

Hardbacks: .7510,000.6 = 3000
Paperbacks: .2510,000.4 = 1500
3000+1500= 4,500 books on sale

A bookstore has only paperback and hardback books. They sell 40% paperbacks and 60% hardbacks. If they have 10000 books in their inventory and 75% of those are hardbacks, how many books are on sale?

10,000 * 75% = 7,500 books hardback, 2,500 paperback
2,500 * 40% = 1,000 books
7,500 * 60% = 4,500 books
Added up is 5,500 books on sale, which isn’t the answer I got (4,500) which means one of the numbers is off…

Thanks, I still kinda don’t get it, but I guess this is because it was simpler than I thought. :(

What I did was, I said that there are 2500 paperbacks, which is 40% of the books being sold, so 2500/.4 = 6250, which must be totally wrong since no one else seems to have got a different answer from 4500.
