PSAT Sat.

Also, someone care to guestimate my score?
CR: -6
M: -2
W: -5

I’m guessing worst case scenario scores

same here: -3 CR -4 W and -1 M -2 FR

sorry for the added confusion, the .4 and .6 are switched around in my earlier post. This is what is should be:

Hardbacks: .7510,000.4= 3,000
Paperbacks: .2510,000.6= 1,500
3000+1500= 4,500 books on sale

HEY
how do you guys think the math curve will be? like what would your score be with 2 missed

this thread died so early. the oct 2010 SAT which i took last week had a CR thread with 170 pgs alone. but that was a hell of a controversial test.

^Hopefully a 74 or better^

“The first woman to receive a patent in the US was Bla Bla, her method for weaving was useful to hatmakers.”

Her, weaving, and useful to were underlined. Because of the comma splice was it her?

still no one has answered… not on … but on question.

error was but on should be but rather on

i said error was “her”
also:
M -1 (MC)
CR -4/5
W -2
can I get at least 221??

Can someone confirm if “fear of running” was an error???

^yo, I’m pretty sure there was a gerund error or something in that one.

I think I got it wrong though? Hey, have you guys calculated a predicted curve or something yet?

Does anyone remember the sanguine question verbatim? I know I probably got it wrong since so many people got sanguine…improve, but I remember getting something meaning optimistic and “decline.” I thought she was talking about the bad economic conditions declining, or something.

To add on to the consolidated list: For the Indian parents passage, I got that the kids didn’t care about the past because they were satisfied with their parents as they knew them in the present.

DAM IT. thats like 3 wrong in W now ■■■ ■■■ ■■■.

@ annoyingaakash
can you please sen me a link to that thread… I cant seem to find it

TO EVERYONE WHO GOT PUNCTILIOUS, ITS INTUITIVE BECAUSE flout tradition, and disdain conventions = less intuitive and more inventive!

See before the blank had a Less ______
less intuitive!

MUHHEHEHHEHEHE

hey, quick question. Is PSAT important for admissions?

Haha. It was punctilious because it said UNLIKE his _______ friends, he flouted tradition and disdained conventions.

Intuitive doesnt work. His friends were intuitive? FAIL.

@Louis

Save for a few scholarships and for being able to list national merit scholarship on your commonapp, the PSAT has zero bearing on college admissions. Colleges will not ask for your PSAT score, nor is it couth to put it on your application.

What is the most I could I have gotten wrong in each section to get a 217, with my strengths being M > CR > WS? [A very abstract question, but I’m freaking out here!]
