PSAT Sat.

@marsha.ss

I think “foreshadow” was one about the African-American female scientists.

OH. sorry.

Wasn’t it “constitute” for the African-American lady?

thank sarquois! that’s right…

only 2 more…

1.punctilious,
2. sanguine…improve (one about optimistic prediction for ailing economy),
3. cerebral/visceral,
4. disparaging/charitable
5. accelerating
6. verify…accuracy
7. reveal… understatement
8. support…cautionary (scientist who supported nuclear power)
9. severity (of the harsh winter/migration questions)
10. therapeutic
11. foreshadow ( about the female scientst who foreshadowed later scientists)
12.
13.

@TRUFFLIEPUFF

Perhaps, I don’t recall the question. I think I put “foreshadow” because it said something like “one black female scientist would _______ something about future black female scientists.”

sarquois is right…it was definitely foreshadow

@Sarquois: Thanks :)

What would my score be like with -2 CR, -0/1 Math, and -6/7 Writing?

Also, which math question had an answer of 2k?

blah, i need to stop obsessing over the psat, it means pretty much nothing

@Lololwut

Around CR 77 M 77 WR 62, so around 216

Could someone please tell me how many questions and which ones were no error for the writing portion of the test? Thanks!

Around CR 78 Math 75 Wr 74 so around 227

yo i could use some help as well, i need to stop stressing…

for those of you knowledgeable in these things: what would -5M/-4CR/-2W most probably be? I know there’s a lot of these things on this board, but pleasee help me out here.

What was the question and other choices for “verify…accuracy”?

what was the accelerating one for the vocab? i forget what i put.

@ theodyssey12, I got 2 no errors on the writing part, but I can’t remember what the questions were.

@louisvuittonbaby

M 67 (assuming that all of the ones you got wrong were on the multiple choice) CR 72 WR 73, so an overall 212.

What’s the most I could have gotten wrong in WS if I got around 5 or 6 wrong in CR and maybe 1 or 2 math multiple choices wrong and still have a 216?

@ravenclaw

Let’s say you got 6 wrong in CR and 2 math multiples wrong. You would need to get at least a 74 in writing, which would be 1 wrong.

These scores of course don’t take into account the PSAT curve.

Crap. Hopefully I didn’t get so many wrong in CR, and got perfect in M, because I sure didn’t do so well in WS. Please, CollegeBoard Gods, let the curve be generous…

I hope so, but I’m not so sure it will be. :frowning:
The math was easy so I’m expecting a severe curve on that. And the WR/CR both seemed average.
