2 NE’s, anybody else? :slight_smile:
For the homo urbanus thing i put satirical comment or something.

i put newly coined term but i guess it could be humorous?

@theimpatientone:

I said the error was at the “he” following the comma on that question.

2 no errors for me as well.

The author was talking about human population growth in a satirical way, as seen by the last 2 sentences or so, so i thought that satirical would make the most sense.

@fresh-man Yeah i was thinking that, but wouldn’t that need a certain amount of prior knowledge/interpretation?

ahh nvm i think it might be punctilious ****

are we even allowed to discuss yet?

10char nvm

wow, the person behind me was only able to answer 2 free response math problems…poor sophomore

@ssbmgamerz I chose the one where it said it was a humorous statement or something like that. I’m not sure if it’s right, though.

I had 4 no errors,
Might be because of these two:

for that weird no-conjunction comma splice, I put that as no error because I considered the question was flawed. (dumb)

There was another one that had something along the lines of "the government should not…but continues to, and it sounds like the error is “continues to.” I put no error because “government” is singular.

not satirical bc he said from now on so its coined recently

I think that humurous statement might be correct, but I felt that the overall tone of the passage wasn’t humorous enough to have that as the answer. As I think about it more it seems right, but idk…It makes perfect sense where it doesnt have to be a joke.

^both of those have errors

There was another one that had something along the lines of "the government should not…but continues to, and it sounds like the error is “continues to.” I put no error because “government” is singular.
The question, however, is talking about something that didn’t happen yet, so it should be “continue to”

Did you all get 12 for the inscribed triangle? (It asked for the perimeter of a triangle, where two vertices were on the circumference of a radius-4 circle, and the angle made was 60 degrees). I figured that it had to be equilateral, as two sides surrounding a 60 degrees were equal, making them all have to be 60 and thus all sides 4.

^ I did
10 char

@Somestudent2:

That’s what I got for the triangle question.

For the first question on the identifying sentence errors, did you guys put B?

the government one was continue bc it also said censor. so censor-continue no censor-continues
