Any guesses on the curve of the test?

Math was definitely an easier test. Writing was also on the easier side. Reading was average.

I agree with theimpatientone. Math should have a rather harsh curve I would assume…while writing may have an OKAY curve. Reading was average.

CR - what I had expected. Skipped the last vocab one. Medium overall
Math - easier than expected. Skipped last question before the fill in section. For what reason, I forget
Writing - harder than I expected… Skipped like 3 :(

I’d say math was pretty easy, reading and writing were average, with several tricky questions.

IMO: Math easy, CR average, Writing slightly tricky.

CR was very, very difficult for me this time. Not sure if that’s the general consensus (it doesn’t seem to be). I got an 80 on a practice test, but I think I’m going for the low 700s on this one.

Math - I never do well on math. ever. and there’s not one that I’m sure I got wrong yet. So definitely a harsh curve.

Writing - very easy for me as well, though I typically do very well on writing. So probably a harsh curve (but perhaps not as nasty as last year’s: -1 was 75 and -2 was 70).

Where did you find the practice tests?

I was just given one when I signed up at my school. I guess it’s an annual booklet?

^The practice booklets are usually misleadingly easy. I got a 80 M, 70 CR, and 75W on one. I’m currently expecting a 70+M, 68-74CR, and 70+W

Does anyone know how the curves work for the PSAT?

For example, what should I expect if I got ~4 wrong for CR?

^^The practice booklets are actually past exams. This year’s practice booklet exam was 2008 Wednesday with the 2008 Wednesday curve.
