PSAT score for HADES

I was wondering what's the range of PSAT scores do HADES expect the 11th grade's applicants to have?

For SADGE, the average 25th percentile SAT is 1920 and average 75th percentile is 2220.

So, a rough guess of the middle 50% of PSAT scores would be in the 190 to 220 range.

If I only got a 190ish, should I take the SSAT or ACT?

You may want to take the SSAT; see how you do, and submit the better score.

How do you already know your PSAT score? did you take the PSAT in october?

^I estimated my score with my friends.
but SSAT requires an essay, I suck at writing essays with time limits.

Some SADGE require the SSAT with essay, even for applicants to the 11th grade. For some, a PSAT score will not suffice. A quick call or email to the admissions office will get you the facts.

The essay is based on a very simple prompt and has a max length of one hand written page. Read Princeton Review’s SSAT prep book for guidance on writing the essay.

Decide this week. The regular online registration deadline for the Dec 12 test is this Friday. The Jan 9 test may be too late for some.

To my way of thinking, it’s a no-brainer: take the SSAT; see how you do; and then decide whether to submit your score/essay.

I like SADGE better than HADES, which means hell…

Yes, I agree - take the SSAT, if you feel you didn’t do very well on PSAT.

What’s SADGE?

I think it’s SPS, Andover, Deerfield, Groton and Exter.
