PSAT Score Reports now ONLINE for all

I just checked my PSAT My College Quickstart from last year and there is a link to 2007 scores. I did not receive results yet in mail or from school. I just thought that I'd check and they were there. I'm really bummed as I got a 217 because I live in Massachusetts and that's probably about 4 points too low!!!!

:(

Yep, checked daughter's too. Probably commended. Her math went up. She only missed one, but her cr/wr, they essentially stayed the same. Phooey. :)

zebes

How did you access the scores?

There's a message in the other PSAT thread that gives the link to paste for 2006 scores. If you paste that and change the number to 2007, there it is. My daughter's haven't hit the College Quickstart yet but when I pasted the link they were there.

It is correct, my D's college board account also show the 2007 PSAT score report link along with her 2006 score report. It shows as follows in the Upper Right corner under the "my College Quickstart"
"
Your Past PSAT/NMSQT Tests
2007
"
I called the college board and they said the scores are available online. We have not recieved the information from the school yet though. We are in California, so hope she will be NMSF.

Following are her scores

I find that page but still don't see anything about PSAT scores. I see the old SAT stuff from seventh grade, but not any of the PSAT stuff.

lol, I was the one who brought this method out of the dark. I got my scores too.
Math - 80
Writing - 80
Critical Reading - 76(why did I have to miss 2)

Index - 236

Congrats to everybody who took the PSAT on here.

what is typically the commended score cutoff?

cool nice!

I got 80M / 79CR / 76W (76 with -1 ouch!)

thanks for posting this trick. but i'm kinda bummed out. do u think a 223 in NJ would be enough to get semifinalist? math=680, writing=800, CR=750.

it depends on what state you live in.

does anyone know if it works for sophomores???

The cutoff for commended is national. The cutoff for semifinalist is state by state, with a couple of exceptions (e.g. boarding schools, by region).

so do you know what the national cutoff generally is?

Worked for my soph.

it asks me for a access code what should i do?

Nope! Commended score is a national cutoff, as far as my knowledge goes it is the lowest score for all the states for NMSF, it is there to enable state wise NM Semi Finalists.
It would have been wrong to qualify a student form one state with 205 as Semi Finalists while another student with same index from another school getting nothing.

So the program have commended status that is given to student who would have otherwise qualified for Semi finalists in another state.
