PSAT scores anyone?

So I'm a sophomore and I got a 215. Without studying (sorry for the bragging, but I had to add that). Next year I'll actually study though, so I can get the National Merit Scholarship.

So anyway, I got 75 in CR, 74 in Math, and 66 in Writing. What did everyone else get?

Check the SAT Preparation forum for the full score thread.

I got a 212 WITH studying(alot). :P

a guy in my school got a perfect 240. it was amazing

214 with 5 months of tutoring. I was kind of disappointed (but by no means ashamed) because I normally score higher on my practice tests. The good thing is is that I’m only a sophomore, so I still have time… one more year left!

…207 but i didn’t study either
yall are cray cray, we’re only sophomores!

I’m a Sopshomore. 201 with no studying, my mother told me I was taking it on the wednesday before I took. Funny thing is, though, that I had a higher math and reading than you, but bombed the writing section, which I always thought I was good at.

Wow. You were tutored for 5 months for a test that meant nothing?? Wow.

^ While I do think 5 months is a bit excessive for PSAT study, it’s by no means wasted time. Because the PSAT is virtually identical to the SAT (just shorter and without an essay), all the time he spent being tutored will serve the double-purpose of helping him prepare for the real thing. And my guess is he/she is well aware of this fact.

Got a 215 no studying. Next year I will prepare for it more, hopefully I’ll get some National Merit award or something.

I got a 217 with about a week of studying, which almost definitely puts me in the running for National Merit.

176 freshman no studying besides one practice test

I got a ton of questions wrong, hahahah. I didn’t miss any on the math section, but like Critical Reading was a DISASTER. :(

220 with no studying and 3 hours of sleep thanks to a chem lab report being due. but no national merit because i’m not a US citizen/permanent resident. even though i live in the states. bummer. :(

182 :frowning:
in my defense I was a bit sick. I was proper sick the few days prior though. writing was AWFUL

218, but it goddamn new jersey that’s not enough. i wish i could take it again.

213
In SC that is good enough. And then there’s the National Achievement Scholarship Program in case of fluke.

I expected to do better but my math dropped in between years. So my raised scores in reading and writing just cancellled math out (and boosted me enough to worthy scores). I beat everyone else in my schools (cross-enrolled), though…

Lol, annoying how one can be in the 99th and still get an inferiority complex from his test scores. :/

Well it’s winter vacation now and time to get ready for the real thing! I will achieve perfection!
