People- get a grip!- stop obscessing and check your state stats for stats from 2008 for benchmarks psat/merit standards. For example, if you are a west coast kid-congrats- easier score to meet then va or dc-- our local area.

230 PSAT in TX.

I got 226, but my SAT score was only 2110. Last year the PSAT cut off in my state was 210. I'm retaking in May or June, but I don't know if that matters or counts. How important is it that the SAT scores correlate? How high do they have to be?

Hi.
Does anyone know the actual number of semi finalists in each state in the past? Also math question: if the number of test takers in a state increased about 2% from last year but the number of kids in the 75-80 (top 1% in each section) range stayed relatively the same can one make any prediction about whether the cutoff will go up or down ,or stay same? S score is at the cutoff number for last year!

Thanks very much.

217 PSAT in NC?
PM me if you know with confidence!

Hey! I know that its not even December yet (well maybe by the time you read this, it will be), but I saw that the guy in California got his already, I was wondering how one would get his or her PSAT scores online early if possible (without the Access Code that COllegeboard asks.) I’m DYING TO KNOW!!

Thanks :)

Sorry, this thread is like 2 years old… you won’t be able to get your scores until mid-December, and status in September.
