PSAT scores

Since it seems that everyone is just sitting around waiting for their PSAT scores, what did you get last year? If you took it last year, please share! I got a 159, but I think that I'll probably get higher this year because I took it last year before I had taken Algebra. Please say what you got last year, and how you think you'll do this year.

PS, I'm a freshman in high school.

LAST YEAR:
171 - Freshman (eh…I was being an idiot during the test and starting omitting like EVERY OTHER question. I didn’t answer A LOT of question. I guess I was a little hazy on how the scoring actually worked)

THIS YEAR:
I wish not to speak of such things [even I did get my score back.]

Sophomore year: 210 (63 CR, 74 M, 73 W)
I missed 10 CR questions, 2 Math questions, and 2 Writing questions. (none omitted)

Junior year: 234 (77 CR, 79 M, 78 W)
This is my predicted score after reading all the discussion threads on the SAT forums in their entirety. Missed 2 on CR, 1 on M, and 1 on W (at least, according to the answers I’ve seen posted up). There’s a slight chance my CR score might be off by another point or two, but M and W are pretty much set.

Last Year
200
80 CR 55 M 65W
1 cr question wrong
5 w questions wrong
I omitted 8 math questions and missed 5 -crazy-I know :)

This year- I don’t know I get them next MOnday
I know i probably didn’t get another 80 CR but maybe a 76/77
Math I only omitted 3 questions, so that should be better
W I studied more ?
Wish me the best and luck to yall

Sophomore year: 202

Junior year SAT (october): 2250
Junior year PSAT: 220+ please haha. I made some really dum mistakes. I’ll be upset if I score lower on my PSAT than my SAT. That would be lame.

sophomore year - 185
junior year - 206

i can’t believe i got a 65 on the writing. i usually score much higher. ugh at least it doesn’t count for anything.

Freshman year - 178
Sophomore year - 191

Yay for going up 10+ points :] Now if I can get a 210 next year I’ll be ecstatic ;D

or at least a 200…-sigh-

Just got mine back 2day, and i got a 164. 55 critical reading, 52 math, 57 writing skills.

Got mine today, sophomore- 221. 800 on reading, 2 wrong on math and 4 wrong on writing.

I’m obviously happy with this, when I actually start studying for the SATs the score will be bound to go up.

Freshman - 179
Sophomore - 195
Sophomore SAT - 2270 (not retaking)
Junior - 216

Not gonna lie, pretty displeased since I’m pretty close to the cutoff for my state, and I was expecting higher. Oh wellz, it’s okay.

sophomore year: 185
junior year: 215 i made stupid mistakes in critical reading or i would have gotten higher. i didnt miss any in math. i got 75 in writing. 80 in math. and 60 in critical reading.

I scored in the 150’s both times I took the PSAT (sophomore and junior year) and ended up getting a 1950 on the actual SAT. I didn’t study or get any tutors for the SAT and I only took it 2x, so I have no idea how I could have done so poorly on the PSAT, which is WAY easier than the SAT itself.

I hope you all know how arrogant you sound.

@LHs11 … very true :D

didnt take it this year
some people i know: 2370 and 2300
they already took the actual SAT and got high scores on it but wanted to compete for the national merit thing… crazy sh1t

203 in my Junior year. PSAT was a horrible indicator for the SATs.

221 this year as a junior, sorta just went in their and winged it and somehow made the cutoff so it’s fine.

215…so close to last year’s cutoff so we’ll see. It’s a smidge annoying because should have got a 80 in CR and 68 and math (I got 77/65) but all is done so whatever…we’ll see about NM.
