PSAT vs. SAT?

<p>So I took my PSAT my sophomore and junior year and I will be taking the official SAT on June 4th. I have many friends who took both the PSAT and the SAT already and the difference between their two scores were around 200 points (SAT score was higher). Is it true that the PSAT is significantly harder than the SAT? Should I expect to score a lot better on the actual SAT? (I got a 590 CR/710 M/650 W = 1950 total)</p>
