How many PSAT questions can you miss in all (overall), in order to still get a 202?

bumperooozo

bump me please! :-)

You could get 10 wrong in each section, therefore getting a 67 in each, and still get a 201.

It all depends on the scale though. Just try your best.

skip questions you dont know the answer too and do your best keeps you relaxed and you will do well dont think about getting a certain score that will screw you up

ok...thanks

just outta curiousity, any reason you're aiming for a 202? is that the cut-off for the nmsqt in your state? bc that would be crazy, it's 225-228 in jersey..

No...that is commended, and National Hispanic...I know I won't get semi, so this is the next best thing! :-)

I'm from TX.

grr. so jealous.

What do you mean grrr..so jealous? The commended is set for the whole country.

Also, NJ's cutoff will not go to 225-228. Probably 222 or 223.

Also, You CANNOT get 10 questions awrong on each section....
that would yield you about a 180-183.

if i get 10 wrong on CR (2sections)
2 wrong on math (2sections)
and 5 wrong on writing (one section)
what will be the score range for PSAT?

CR: 62
M: 73
W:73

Total: 208

k, thats what i'm aiming for

Haha that's almost exactly what I got last year!

And now the question is... can I raise my score 15 points?!?!

grr so jealous because of the national hispanic thing, which i dont have as an orm. i didnt know that commended students' cutoff was the same...i thought it differed by state.

theoneo, it depends what sections you want to raise your score on. i think that its def possible to improve signif on the math and writing, but harder on cr. ex: last year as soph, i got a 57 on writing (that was my worse one) and now ive gotten 73 and 80 on practices, and this is doing no review for it at all.
