<p>Hey, I'm a freshman in high school, and the PSAT is coming up....I don't think I'll do that good on it since I got my practice book the day before, and I was wondering if PSAT scores have alot of influence on college apps and acceptence... :(( 8-| </p>
<p>Not for freshman. Only junior year score counts.</p>
<p>Technically PSAT score have NO influence on college admission. Doing well on the PSAT as a Junior may allow you to get a National Merit Scholarship, though. Make sure you study before that one. Some of the scholarships offered by the schools are for full tuition.</p>
<p>PSAT score has no direct influence on admission, but the NMSF/NMF status may have an effect at many school in admission as well as merit aid.</p>
<p>Only the PSAT score you achieve junior year counts for National Merit scholar. If you do well it could mean free tuition. </p>
