<p>Yes, you can take the PSAT even in your freshman year. The only one that matters for NMS is your junior year’s PSAT.</p>
<p>I would add that it is not a bad idea to take the PSAT in 9th, 10th and 11th grades. You will become more familiar with the exam and are likely to be less anxious for the NMS PSAT in 11th grade.</p>
