I was wondering what scores on the PSAT converts to what on SAT. Is it just x10?

Thats a good question but I have know clue..

Yep. The PSAT is an easier test with a harsher curve, though, so it doesn't really tell you much.

dO you any good psat prep books shadowofanenigma??

Sadly, no. When I took the PSAT I had never even heard of the possibility of studying for standardized tests. (I go to a really crummy HS.) If I had known of prep books, I'm sure I could have made the cutoff. :(

Well, if memory serves me well, Shadow, you aced the ACT anyway :P. What about the PLAN? Does anyone even take that?

I say just prep for the PSAT with SAT I books, since almost all the material is identical (the PSAT is slightly less comprehensive). Then take the SAT right after/before the PSAT and get it over with in the fall of junior year. Why waste half a year on it when you can be doing other things?

So I should not take this year? I am currently a sophomore

^You should take it because it doesn't count at all in soph year. Use it as a practice to see where you stand, where you need to improve... just a general idea of how it's set up so you can ace it as a junior. :]
