PSATs tomorrow, good luck all!

This is my first post here, so I apologize if I screw it up somehow. :)

I get to take the PSATs tomorrow at my high school ... joy. I just love three hour tests. I'm not concerned though, I've scored very well on the practice tests I've taken.

I was wondering, as a sophomore do the PSATs serve any purpose except for practicing? I understand that as a junior you are registered for the national merit scholarship and other scholarships, but I'm not sure if that makes a difference as a sophomore.

Also, how much junk mail do colleges typically send you? I'm open to receiving brochures and information (I'm just starting my search and want all the information I can get!) and I was wondering how much, if any, people get.

Thanks!

Up until a couple of hours ago, I thought the Sophomore PSAT was relevant, but apparently it isn’t. I guess it just serves as a practice. It may be 3 hours, but hey, I only have 3 classes tomorrow, which pleases me, very much so. LOL.

Good luck to you too! :)

Thanks. I’m gonna need it. As far as I know the sophomore PSAT is just practice but I really regret not doing it. It would really help with the anxiety.

Good luck everyone! I think I’ll go to bed now, need a good night’s sleep!
