PSEO for High School Senior

Hey, first time posting.
I'm thinking of doing the Post Secondary Enrollment Program offered by my school at the University of Minnesota next year, and I was wondering whether that'd be a good alternative to more APs.
Currently I've taken 8 AP classes, and have something like a 3.98 unweighted 4.3 weighted GPA, a 34 ACT, 227 PSAT, and SAT results pending.
AP classes are:
Euro (5)
Micro (5)
French (5)
APUSH
Calc BC
Physics B
Language and Comp
Macro
(expecting to get 5's on all of the ones I'm taking this year)

Extra-curricular wise I have
FIRST robotics
DECA
Science Olympiad
and sports/other activities scattered around fresh/soph year.
I worked at a gas station for 6 months, and will probably get a job with public works this summer.
This summer and next year I'm planning on doing research at the U in the astrophysics or engineering department with a program called HMC, which would take a block out of my four block day for all four terms.

In terms of PSEO, I'd like to take continuing calculus (linear algebra/differential eq. + multivariable calc), a sophomore physics course, intro bio, interm. econ, and maybe a chem of some sort if I can fit that in. Should I remain at my High School, I would be taking linear algebra/differential eq., AP chem, AP bio, and modern problems (kind of a bs econ/social course), and a comm course like philosophy.

So, College Confidentialites, first of all, what do you think of my High School work so far, and secondly, what would you recommend doing for admission to highly selective engineering colleges, PSEO or more APs?
Thanks for reading!

I think your work academically is great, but you don’t have a lot of leadership in your EC’s. People applying to really good engineering schools don’t just have amazing grades and test scores. They also have great activities outside of academics. Just get involved a little more. Maybe do something over the summer? Get some community service in? I think the PSEO thing sounds like a great idea. If the courses are better than the AP courses at your school and they don’t cost too much money, I say take the opportunity. It will stand out on an application.

Anyway, good luck with school and applications!

Chance me back?
