Hi I have a question I’m thinking about taking PSEO and an upper classmen told be that unless your get into the U of MN PSEO program there is no point in taking it and I applied to North Hennipen Community college. So I was wondering if collges will transfer my PSEO credits to their college when I actually do get into college like will the U of MN accept PSEO credits from North Hennipen or what are other colleges that will?
Thanks!
Each college will have its own policies on transfer credit. Same-state public universities are often the most generous, and more likely to have pre-existing transfer credit listings on the web.
Some private universities do not like to give credit for college courses taken while in high school, although they may allow advanced placement after individual review.
Keep syllabi, book lists, assignments, and exams in case you need to have transfer credit or placement individually reviewed by whatever college you eventually attend.
Graduate or professional schools will want to see all college records, including for college courses taken while in high school, regardless of whether they were given transfer credit at the college you earn your BA/BS at.
