i have come to despise and loathe the following message:

“Your application is complete, all of your required materials are here, and we are reviewing your credentials. A decision will be available here as soon as one is made.”

i have come to despise and loathe the following message:

“Your application is complete, all of your required materials are here, and we are reviewing your credentials. A decision will be available here as soon as one is made.”

Who didn’t get a status change? Mine still says “Your application is complete, all of your required materials are here, and we are reviewing your credentials. A decision will be available here as soon as one is made.”

I think this is a bad sign…expecting a rejection letter soon…

fianchetto, yeah my status didn’t change either… do you really think that is indicative of acceptance? If so, congratz doctor2b!

I do not think that message has any significance about acceptance or rejection. It should not be too much longer. If you go an interview, your odds for acceptance are about 40% which is much better that most of the other programs.

Last year CC posters only talked about getting notifications by snail mail, but may be they did not know about checking the status online.

PSU undergraduate acceptance message is out online. However, there is no mention of Jefferson decision. The acceptance term is summer 2010 which is what D put on appication ( planning a 6 yr BSMD route). Hope it has bearing on JMC admission decision…Please post if you have JMC decision.

RawMcatBB…My daughter also got the same acceptance message online. But, she had marked “No” on application when asked if would be willing to start in summer 2010. I’m not sure if it means that she got in PSU / JMC program. Guess that we’ll just have to wait for the snail mail.

DDD: Let’s wait for the paper packet. From other thread it seemed the PSU/JMC met to decide last week on the 18th, so i expect the JMC letter should come soon…
Btw, i ur D planning to do it in 7 yrs if she ticked “no” to starting summer 2010? I thought it was natural to tick yes, as the 6-yr option involves 2 summers. The fear about “burnout” was alleviated as most students there think it’s doable and saves money&time. Meanwhile, the gruelling wait continues…

yeah my penn state acceptance is also online but nothing about jefferson decision! good luck to everyone :)

RawMcatBB…Yes, my D ticked “No” because she was hoping for the 7-yr option and our family wanted to go on a medical missionary trip in summer 2010.

just called dr. markle’s office and asked when we’d get decisions and the woman replied, “you’ll have them this week.”

i got in! came in mail in thin, large envelope

I’m so happy for you doctor2b. Our mail hasn’t arrive yet here in southern California. Wish my D good luck.

good luck to her! ^^

Thank you doctor2b. Your wishing her good luck did the trick. She got in !!! Thank you Lord.

I’m so scared… I’m trembling

Well, I checked mypennstate with the log in we were orignally given and it says “I am pleased to offer you admission to The Eberly College of Science for Summer 2010” (I received a yes to the program) so perhaps your decisions are online too? As for whether or not this means a yes to the program, I do not know, it could simply mean summer 2010 because we applied for summer 2010 at penn state.

ACCEPTED!!!
via mail today.
So more information for those waiting:
My decision was made apparently the week of the 18th?
there’s a note for bio majors (I chose this major cuz <3 bio) dated on the 18th
but… the “acceptance” letter is dated for the 21st.

Was the mail delivered by USPS? I didn’t get ANY mail today. Probably bad news. But, congrats to all who got in!!

Was anyone from the Midwest accepted?

yeah fianchetto it was USPS
