<p>Thank you! I’m so nervous, I think I’m gonna be rejected. My weighted cumulative GPA is only 2.9 due to my education in France. It’s explained in my counselor letter, and my junior year is excellent with 4.1 GPA and good classes, but I think they might decline me based on that. SAT is 1900 though.</p>

<p>I cannot go to summer session because I will be in Europe all summer before I start my fall term. This worries me even more, because it reduces my chances even more…I applied to undergraduate studies/undecided, I’m hoping maybe since it’s not as competitive as other majors I might have a slightly better chance.</p>
<p>I’m just not sure how Penn state has looked at my transcripts, and what they have concluded. I had two bad years, but my Junior and Senior year are so good, I’d be torn if 9th and 10th ruined me.</p>
<p>KFC: how many ED schools did you apply to? Wake and SU have only released ED decisions…binding?</p>
<p>I will be attending Wake Forest next year as I was just accepted there a few weeks ago (within the same week that I got my Penn State acceptance). I also just got accepted to UM EA earlier this week, and UPitt awhile ago. I did not get my “formal acceptance letter” to Syracuse yet, but an admissions officer ensured me that i would be admitted and that she would be very surprised if I did not get in, seeing as though my GPA, class rank and EC’s fell well within the top 20% of their applicants (sorry for coming off as being cocky). Cuse was more of a back up for me, especially considering that Penn State, Miami, Pitt, and Wake Forest are all tougher schools to get into. I notified the appropriate admissions officers to tell them my situation so that I would not be taking up someone else’s spot who wants to attend these schools.</p>
<p>I’m really starting to freak out. My application was completed the first week of December and my status still has not changed. I have a 3.98 W GPA and 1780 SATs. Top 2% of class. Great extra-curriculars. I’m dyingggggggg.</p>

<p>I called them and from what I understood they’re just receiving so many applications that they’re really only accepting “the cream of the crop”, so average or event decent stats are most likely getting denied…it was a huge disappointment to me too.</p>

<p>I would call and ask to be reconsidered for the Division of Undergraduate Studies - my son is a sophomore at PSU and initially he was denied-- he applied to Smeal also --(his SAT scores were M -660, CR-530, W-610 – ACT 26) so I called them and asked to reconsider him for DUS and he was acepted. As long as you maintain a 3.2 GPA by end of your sophomore year you can switch to the business school which is what my son is doing. It’s worth a shot!</p>
