<p>@blob - Your picture changed to Altoona because when they were going to give you the decision, that is what campus it would have been for. Now that you changed your major, they reset the whole thing and it goes back to UP. You now just have to wait again until you get accepted or the picture changes again.</p>

<p>So from what I understand, if you get rejected from smeal you can just call and change to undecided, and you’re pretty much in if your stats are like greater than a 3.4uw gpa, and a 1970 SAT?</p>
<p>has anyone heard back from their journalism program? i just checked my status and it just changed from “reviewing your credentials” to “coming days” and i have the UP picture up. my second choice is altoona. do you guys know when their final decision will go up after the “coming days” message?</p>
<p>@tiffany18 i haven’t heard anything. i applied to the journalism program and my status has been “We are reviewing your credentials. A decision will be available here as soon as one is made.” with the UP photo since early october.</p>
<p>Just got my message changed to “coming days”! I selected summer session, as well as an alternate campus, but the picture stayed at UP! I really hope this means what I think. Even if I have to go up for summer, i’ll be so excited. I applied for the College of Health and Human Development, athletic training major, if anyone is interested</p>
<p>@tiffany, I would hope that you should have your decision by Friday if not before. If you have a decent GPA and ACT/SAT, the fact that your pic did not change to a branch campus is very good news.</p>

@collegeris my sat wasnt that good it was a 1640 and my gpa is a 3.4 but i guess it has something to do with my major choice and the school i go to operates on all honor level classes and is well recognized. so it could go either way i guess</p>

I really wish you all good and I didn’t have the best SAT score (1420 Superscored) but my GPA which was a 4.0(95.15) and my coursework and EC made up for my SAT. So hopefully if you have that you’ll be fine. I wish everyone good luck!</p>
