First acceptance for my daughter so there was lots of excitement last night. She got the “coming days” status a few days ago. Checked at 4pm yesterday with no change, checked again at 7pm-ish and got the good news!

Thanks to all who take the time to post about their experiences with PSU. Without CC, we would have never known about the bubble chart, the nuances of the different status messages or a myriad of other details about PSU.

Anxiousmom -my son’s status changed to accepted on Nov 6. His acceptance letter was typed and dated Nov 6 and we received it 2 days later.

Bennnie…Thats exciting news! Congrats!! and thank you for replying back with helpful information! PSU is my sons first choice! hoping status changes soon and a decision comes through.

50male50…I believe your daughter will get accepted. She has great stats!!! Good luck and keep us posted

I applied November 18th… How soon can I expect a decision? This is making me nervous haha

HatersGonnaHate…seems as if the applicants that have great scores and a high GPA find out pretty quickly but who knows how the addmission office makes their decisions. it could be 2 weeks or 2 months.

Oh ok I have a 4.0 uw and a 2320 so I’m hoping to hear from them soon. Do the shc decisions generally come out much later?

SHC decisions don’t come out until March.

Did anyone’s status change to: “Your application is complete and all of your required materials are here”?? Up until today it was something like “please continue to check your status”. Does this mean my application is finally being reviewed?

1785 were her total scores - I don’t remember the breakout. It is not her SuperScore - she did better in all three areas every time she took the test.

How was a 5 included :s?

mysteryfan11 - Yes it goes from application is complete - to reviewing credentials - to final stages - to your acceptance decision. This process could take awhile or come in a few days all depends. Good Luck!!!

I am an international student… my sat score is pretty bad (1750 it is)… so i applied to abington campus as an alternative to university park… how hard is it for me to get in? Do they even consider int’l students for small campuses? And i know that the most important part of the app is HS grades, but does this also applies to international admissions?
Anyone?
