Denied for DUS fall semester, I suppose. Didnt state if it was summer or fall, even though I put summer as an option. Sadly disappointing.

So Excited!! Originally applied SMEAL Finance not realizing I could go in DUS. Denied SMEAL but reevaluated for DUS and got in for Fall DUS! Congrats to all accepted! I wish I had understood how DUS works as I would have just gone that route originally! Good luck to those of you still waiting!

I still have not heard from Penn State. If I am accepted for Summer Session, is it possible to take 6 credits at a local Community College or State University (I am from MA, and the room and board plus the money I would be losing by not working would be difficult for me and my family.)

My school doesn’t offer AP courses, but I took as many “advanced” courses as I could, so I have a pretty rigorous academic history overall.
Initially I applied for Engineering Fall, but my college counselors received a call earlier this week asking if I’d like to be considered for Summer DUS. Pretty surprised I didn’t get in the route I hoped, but at least I’m in!
@jackoneill unfortunately, if you are accepted for summer session, you have to attend summer session in order to be admitted for the fall at PSU. You can not take the credits at a local community college or a local university.
