You will never know everything in someone else’s app. Speculating about what got them in is pointless. The decisions are what they are.

both originally were another major and switched to DUS the same day
@bodangles I am only curious as they know each other so obviously they have compared their info. They both swim and play water polo and involved in the same amount of clubs so it is interesting how they both have different outcomes. I know it’s a numbers game but it is interesting to find out all this info about how it’s different for everyone. This is my first of 4 kids going through this so there’s definitely things I’ve learned about this process.
If it is any consolation, I have twin girls, very, very similar stats…it is amazing the differences not only in acceptances, but also honors colleges and merit between them…it makes us wonder sometimes if they are reading the right files…

Are they updating at midnight every day still? Or are they released in batches on specifics days per week?
I applied into Engineering back in the fall and last week received my deferral to Behrend. I was super disappointed and immediately called the office of admission to be reconsidered for Summer. Today, I was accepted into Engineering for this summer. I am beyond pleased. Just curious though, are there any admission standards for summer session or does the University pretty much just accept anyone with half way decent grades/scores? Thanks.

jackoneill…you did nothing,I just felt so bad for you that you waited so long to find out the great news! My daughter was very lucky to find out in November that she got in but we still checked these boards eery day to see the results. Good luck with your decision!

@PS2021PS Summer is only slightly less difficult to get into than fall. They absolutely do not accept everyone - even those with higher scores . Just peruse through this thread and you will see plenty of good students that were deferred to a branch and not offered summer at all. Congrats on getting in for summer. My D went two years ago to summer and loved it. I’m sure you will too!

What is the difference between summer 2017 and fall 2017 with summer option.
