I find it so interesting another post about A&A from last night. The rest will come…
greenbutton - it’s a DECISION thread. Not an acceptance thread. People should feel comfortable asking questions. Not sure why the harsh tone. Happy Holidays!
@anxiousmom yes it’s a “decision” thread, you are correct. However, there seem to be more questions, chance me, how much longer, etc. While I agree these are ALL great questions, unfortunately they cloud up this “decisions” thread making it difficult for people who want to understand ONLY who is getting accepted, denied, etc and what their stats are.
All should feel comfortable asking question-agree completely. But it would be super helpful to post those questions on new or existing threads that aren’t specific to “decisions” for 2022. Yes?
Decision threads are supposed to be easy to read through for future students who want to see actual data points of actual decisions (accepted, rejected, etc.) and the student stats that go with them.
Perhaps in the future we should add an FAQ?
Q. Chance me?
A. If you make your own thread, you’ll get answers there.
@anxiousmom12 a decision thread is for decisions. Accepted or not accepted. Questions are for other threads. The purpose of a decision thread is for people to come here and scroll and review what stats were accepted and which stats were not. It is not supposed to get bogged down with questions. It’s NOT a question thread. Literally every other thread is for questions. Not this one. And @greenbutton, @bodangles and others have been around here a long time (years answering questions for people), as have I, and we see the same questions asked over and over and over when if people read the QUESTION threads, they would see their questions have been asked and answered a hundred times. The search feature is a wonderful thing.
Accepted to UP in the College of Earth and Mineral Sciences for Environmental Systems Engineering on 12/1
SAT:1470 (770 math 700 cr)

GPA: (Weighted) 4.3
Location: Hudson County
State or Country: NJ
School Type: Vocational
Ethnicity: Asian/White
Gender: Female
While this thread only represents a small percentage of all applicants & accepted students, it seems to me that of the acceptances posted - they are received by far more OOS students than in-state students so far.
Oh @anxiousmom12, I apologize, truly. I didn’t mean to be harsh, just imagine me waving my hands and hugging y’all. I only meant to be firm. Questions are great, but would get you answers so much quicker if they weren’t in this decision thread. Ditto the questions we’ll see soon about summer session, housing, which meal plan, and transportation. if we have a billion threads, that’s fine – at least incoming students/parents will be able to find answers.
You are all awesome! Don’t let the process convince you otherwise! bring on the decisions and best wishes wherever you land
Sorry to ask a question, but I read the thread and didnt seem to find an answer. Have they let anyone know they have been rejected from UP if they did not have an alternate campus listed? There is still quite a while of time to be accepted, but I am curious if those are coming out as well.

Seems like all the acceptances thus far are for specific programs. Any undecideds hear yet? My son applied mid November and is application is “in revew”. He applied undecided.
@Mom of boys2 I wouldn’t worry about it much… I’ve been under review for awhile now and still haven’t heard. If anything it makes the anticipation worse because I’m checking at midnight every night hopeful for a decision.
