I'm a White male and I reside in Pennsylvania and I come from a suburban lower middle class home.

I have a weighted GPA of 3.8, unweighted 3.5 or maybe 3.6
My SAT score is a 1500...nothing to brag about but not to bad. It's average.
I luckily attend one of the (consistently) top 2 public highschools in PA and it is well known through the state in some cases.

Because of this, I have taken ONLY honors courses all 4 years.
In addition I've taken 8 AP courses:
AP World History
AP US History
AP Gov and politics
AP Psych
AP Lang
AP Lit
AP Macro economics
AP Environmental Science

For extra curricular activities:
9th: Student Government Officer, created a special needs sunday school program, President of Club Frisbee Team
10th: Member of the school TV-broadcast station team, President of Club Frisbee Team
11th: Student Government Officer, (promoted) Producer of School TV broadcast, President of Club Frisbee, Tutored underprivileged English second language students once a week after school for 3 hours every week, created a video and won my school a $10,000 green energy grant, a few other achievements and awards recognized by the school district, I also participated in a Job shadowing program and attended PFEW (Pennsylvania Free Enterprise Week in the summer).
12th: Everything in 11th grade, continued.

From 9th to 11th grade I maintained the same Job. Right now (12th) I've pursued another job to just get some fresh air but will of worked in one way or another for all 4 years of highschool.

My Dad and Uncle went to Penn State branch Colleges but never have donated.
I know I have really great recommendations.
I think I could write a thoughtful essay(s).
I also plan on applying September first the day the application is released, it is rolling acceptance.

Issues: My GPA and SAT worries me. I'm riding a lot on Extra curriculars.
Should I apply to the honors college? Does that give me any edge?

For me it is Main Campus (university park) or no Penn State at all. My family is across the street from campus and main has always been my dream.
Thank you in advance.

EDIT: I would like to major in Finance.
