hey guys. I’m planning to apply for some State Universities as my safety, but I’m not sure which State Universities are better for me. San Diego State University or Pennsylvania State University
I could probably get in both if I apply. Can someone give me quick pros/cons for either college?
Are you in state for either of them? Can you afford them either way? PSU is notoriously expensive for most students.
I’m currently in San Diego, so SDSU is closer but I have to pay full tuition anyways since I’m not a permanent resident yet (although pretty sure I would have it in next few years) and I also don’t have green card. And cost won’t be much of a problem for me since other private schools are much expensive than these two. I’m applying Boston Univ. and that’s where it’s actually pretty expensive, almost unaffordable. So yeah I really want to know where I could benefit more academically and future wise
I looked at your chance me for BU. What do you want to mAjor in? I’m not too sure that Penn State is a lock for you. You have a high SAT but your GPA is probably in the the range for Penn State that might get you in for summer session or a satellite campus. Is that something you are interested in.
^ What? 3.8 weighted is pretty fine – at least for DUS/undecided. Smeal has a very low acceptance rate so I would not apply to it directly.
