<p>I checked summer sessions but I don’t really want to do them! If I get accepted will I have to do them?</p>
<p>Yep, but if you do the summer season, you are automatically accepted for the fall term assuming you perform normally during summer.</p>
<p>Has anyone gotten the picture changed to the nittany lion? because over the past years many people who were going to get rejected or accepted to their alternate campus got this. I got the coming days status today and my picture is university park. should i be happy that i didnt get the lion? Anyone?</p>

<p>@twin if you didn’t want to do it then why’d you put it down? The only way I see some people get out of it is if they declared a major, got accepted for summer, then called and asked to be switched to undecided and re-evaluated.</p>

Did official visit at the main campus and met with someone from the meteorology program. Also met with an Admissions counselor who I had reached out to again back in December to find out that I was still in consideration for University Park and would here in January. Lots of legacy and have continued to show strong interest.</p>
<p>General Comments: Credentials had been in review sine beginning of October. Got the coming days status on 1/15 with an acceptance both online and in the mail 1/17. Did not take any Honors or AP classes.</p>
<p>I got the “coming days” status on Tuesday and I looked today and it said I was admitted! And back in early October I applied and put summer sessions but that was before I found out I was going to Europe over the summer. So hopefully I can be considered for fall admissions.</p>
<p>Was admitted today for Penn State Summer Session!!! Got a 25 on the ACT and had a 3.1 GPA at a private school. I was out of state but had 3rd gen legacy! Super excited!!</p>

<p>Accepted to Altoona. Is there any way I can make my way to summer session at university park instead? I’d rather go to another school than Altoona.</p>
<p>Accepted to UP Summer Session, 3.4 GPA and 27 ACT. So excited!</p>
<p>I was accepted for Fall 2013 back in November, for the College of Liberal Arts. This is my #1 choice so far, so I am very excited, just waiting to hear back from one more school and finish my financial aid things so I can see how the costs of different schools stack up. </p>

<p>It seems like everyone getting acceptances now are getting summer session. Will they offer that even if you didn’t check that on the application? Has anyone gotten an acceptance recently that is just for the Fall?</p>

<p>My son was accepted to the Berks Campus. Because the application stated list two locations he did. Now he is considering accepting an offer from another school because Penn State was his first choice. Has this happened to any one and what did you do?</p>
