Coming Days Status!! Praying for UPark - Summer Session!
I just emailed them. Their office hours are 8am-5pm.
Got the coming days status change as well. Any idea how long? The norm doesn’t seem to apply to these years applicants.
This week, the status change after coming days has been one day. If that holds true, your status should change tomorrow evening. Good luck!

Just got in for DUS starting Summer 2015! I want to be happy, but I just don’t know if I’m ready to go over the summer and if it is worth it. I checked off summer hoping it would help, but now I’m starting to regret it. Is there anyway I can be reevaluated for Fall? What can people tell me about the summer program?

Well @dipper1234, it seems like a very competitive year and I know lots of kids (my son included!) who’d jump at the opportunity to start this summer. From EVERYTHING I’ve read the summer session is a tremendous way to get started on a big campus such as UP. If you write, ask for a switch to fall, they say no and you say no – toss that acceptance to my kid! 
Seriously…if you really want to go to Penn State, accept the summer session.
My status just changed to the coming days (engineering).
Does anyone know why that status change even exists? I’m assuming the admission officers take no more than like 10 minutes maximum deciding whether or not a student should be admitted. What exactly happens that makes them know that a decision is coming in the next couple days?
Also, do they send you an email regarding your decision?
Twitter is on fire with acceptances! And all I want is a simple ‘coming days’ message on my son’s page. And @jlhpsu’s daughter’s page.

Accepted…UP Summer DUS. OOS. “Coming days” yesterday night, status change sometime after 6.
Stats:
3.5 GPA, 30 ACT, 8 APs, AP Scholar, 2 Varsity Sports, both Captain, lots of solid leadership and philanthropy. Grandparents and 3 other family members are PSU grads.
We are not accepting, so we will decline quickly to open up a spot ASAP!

@parent819 I simply search for Penn State Accepted and, as an alternative, Penn State Acceptance. Works for most schools…
Thanks @pennnymom for declining (and maybe opening up a spot for my son!). Seriously – I’d like to think kids and their parents would be gracious enough to decline the in-demand schools once they’ve decided on another school. That’s very kind of you.
dipper take the summer session! it’s wonderful!! by the time other freshmen arrive, you will already know where stuff is, you’ll have made good friends (I know grads who still vacation with LEAP friends) and you will have an earlier class registration date than Fall admits. Plus, you’ll be here for ArtsFest, when 120K people flock to town for concerts, food, art and activities; you’ll be here for FourthFest–one of the country’s highest rated fireworks shows. The pools are less crowded, there"s baseball with the Spikes, sunbathing at the Arboretum, hiking, Open empty gyms, movies… truly, summer session is great. Congrats!
