Son still waiting. OOS. DUS Fall/Summer. Applied 10/5. Feels like it’ll never happen and that status will stay the same forever. Good to see things moving for other people. I think he had a Schreyer button that isn’t there anymore, even though no status change. Maybe now that they’ve announced on Facebook that all decisions have been made and it’s just a matter of notifying everyone they took that option down?
@ellenjwraith @sunnyjames65 I think everyone gets that email. They have admissions chats every couple of months where they answer a lot of questions. We have participated in a few and if you scroll through the threads, I created a couple of threads with a wrap up of the chats. The chats are for anyone interested in Penn State.
I think my Schreyer blue box is gone too! It’s totally freaking me out
@Tooth1010 The “Schreyers blue box” was gone before we got the Coming Days message, I looked earlier today when someone else mentioned it being missing, and it wasn’t there. D just got her Comings Day message tonight around 7pm
Well I hate to say misery loves company, but I am happy to know there are others in the same boat! It’s been a long wait since Sept. 8th…but you all know that! I’m not shy about my frustration that’s for sure. SO happy to hear of all of the acceptances!
Not that there’s much interest in status changes and decisions, but more than 125 posts TODAY on this thread.
The last day to apply to Schreyer was the 15th so maybe they removed the application because of that?
The Schreyer box is gone because the deadline for it has passed and the applications are now in review. So no one can access them
@scohen99 I think the deadline for the honors college application has passed, right? Maybe that’s why that box disappeared?
@Aly310 @jlhpsu yes I think you guys are right! I’m so anxious, exhausted and over caffeinated right now I think it’s making me go crazy!
I just joined the PSU Class of 2019 closed group on Facebook and what I’m noticing is that a lot of nursing majors are posting today so maybe UP’s decisions are sent out partially based on what major you applied for? I am a nursing major and got accepted today. Don’t lose hope everyone!!!

On the bright side, this anxious waiting period will officially be over in 9 days!!!
One more thing - check Facebook. PSU Admissions - they said everything is complete. A girl asked about her status not changing and read what admissions said. They said they can only release a certain amount every day… Made me feel better this morning. You have to read comments under that announcement.
My status just changed from the original to “your application is complete, all of your required materials are here, and we are reviewing your credentials. A decision will be available here as soon as one is made.” Does this change mean anything, or am I overreacting?

I went to Penn State Fall Scholar’s Day back in September. It talked about Schreyer Honors College the whole day (got to see the dedicated dorms, talk to students, Schreyer admissions director, etc.)
Schreyer Honors College priority application deadline was November 30th just like Penn State.
There FINAL deadline was January 15th. They informed us at the Scholars’ Day that they would remove the “Schreyer Blue Box” that midnight of the 15th going into the 16th. That would be the last chance to apply to Schreyer’s.
Therefore, the removal of the “Schreyer’s Blue Box” doesn’t mean that Penn State doesn’t know how to tell us their are no spots left! 
THE SCHREYER’S BLUE BOX WAS REMOVED ABOUT MID JANUARY!

@psufriend18 my D has had that status since September 8th…so short answer…it means nothing. You could hear next week or next month. I’m assuming you applied after Nov 30?
Yes I applied before priority. Needless to say it freaked me out lol. But I guess it’s just the stress of waiting!
My son applied to DUS UP Sep. 29, his application was complete end of October. He goes to a top public school in NJ. He has a 3.16 weighted GPA, 3.29 unweighted and an SAT 1800. He checked off Summer, what are his chances? His status is still “reviewing credentials…”
