Hang in there @scohen99. You got into UDelaware so you still have options…including getting good news from PSU! Learning nothing today beats learning bad news!
@wenilau15 did you put summer as an option on your original application? If not, then you could ask for a re evaluation. But you need to change either campus, major or starting semester to get a re evaluaton I think.
@scohen99 I know it feels like it but that’s not how it works apparently. It’s just random. Frustrating, but random. If you look at last year’s thread, there were people who were accepted on the last day of priority notifications.
my son was just denied – good luck to everyone – mine has 6 other acceptances to Big 10 business programs, so he’s fine. I guess we’ll never visit Happy Valley…

Hi! i’ve been reading this forum all year just first time writing in it!! PSU has been my dream school since I was in third grade (literally third grade) and my whole family has gone there so I’ve never been more nervous before in my life…I would be absolutely devastated if i didn’t get in! Still says reviewing credentials since early sept and my heartbreaks each time someones status change or get accepted 
Of course I’m happy for everyone but you know the feeling! Just needed to vent!!!
We had coming days last night around 6, accepted about an hour ago - it should be tonight.
@jlhpsu @brucemag Thanks for the encouragement guys! It’s just so hard to remain hopeful after all this time, especially since it’s coming down to the wire. But I’m happy with schools I’ve gotten into and can see myself going to them although nothing compares to Penn State UP.

@carlyk321 Yes I totally know what you’re talking about! I’m so happy for everyone getting in but it just stinks that we haven’t heard yet!

If it makes you feel any better a good amount of my friends haven’t heard back yet either who’s GPA’s and scores are extremely strong and will most likely get in…so maybe it really is just random at this point!

@imgreen2 I’m almost positive I’ve read people’s post saying they got their decision over the weekend but got “coming days” on a weekday
My D has not heard anything either since mid-October. She is engineering. I still think it is weird that last week she got an email asking her to apply for the millennium scholarship. When I called, I was told that not all incoming engineers received that email. The email was selective. Don’t know what to think.

@Tessie22 I think if it was selective you have a pretty good chance of some type of admissions status! Who knows everything is so random!!! Only five more days, you will get something!! Keeping my fingers crossed for you as well!
@scohen99 I sure hope they update, so I can either celebrate or cry over the weekend and not during the beginning of the week!! I have a few quizzes on Monday and Tuesday, so it will be a ruff start if I get denied!!! Ugh!!!

I think I’ll be doing the LEAP program. Hope and pray that it will all work out!! That helped calm me down with the LONG amounts of time for waiting.
