I’m an international student and have zeroed down on these two.
P.S. I’ll be majoring in economics.

Columbus is more urban whereas PSU UP is located in a very quaint college town in scenic Pennsylvania. Both are Big Ten football schools and I’d consider both academically equal with PSU ranked #52 as a top national university and OSU being ranked #54.
I’m a PSU person, so naturally I’m going to tell you that PSU is better. We have a very strong international student population here, so you would be very comfortable and should feel at home. Only downside: it can be a pain to fly in/out of the tiny airport here.
I am a parent of a rising senior living in Columbus, Oh. She is considering both PSU and OSU. Both are great choices with OSU school spirit and loyalty gripping the entire state of Ohio. OSU is in the City of Columbus, located on a good size and pretty campus. An international airport is 20 minutes away. We were very impressed with the business school, but my girl wants to go away from home. We visited PSU last week and loved it. The campus is very large strikingly beautiful and full of trees and green space. The town is good size and offers a lot. Our issue is that PSU is not near a city for internships. Going to research tho. Both academically strong, especially if get into PSU Honors college.
Why OSU & PSU ?
If finances are a concern, youre more likely to get a scholarship from tOSU. Penn State is very stingy with aid.
