So I live in Pennsylvania and was accepted to both Purdue and PSU's engineering schools. I want to eventually major in biomedical engineering, and it's crunch time for decisions. I loved both schools when I visited; I liked PSU's campus a bit more but Purdue's BME building blows PSU's engineering school out of the water, although I know they are both highly ranked. My question is, with all things considered (campus life, recruitment opportunities, etc.), which do YOU think I should choose? Is Purdue worth the extra $10k per year, considering it's ranked highly for Return on Investment? It's at this point honestly a toss up.

Go with PSU. It is cheaper. They are both excellent engineering schools. In addition, PSU likely has a little more going on on campus. As far as recruitment. For engineering I would imagine they are both similar, but I do know that purdue has 4 job fairs a year with hundreds of corporations sending reps.
