with Ainsworth! anyone know how his midterms and finals are?

Midterm is this Thurs! Finals is the 29th.

i know that! I want to know if his tests are more focused on his slides or the book and the level of difficulty of his tests.

Random90, I will be taking Psych100A in Winter 2011 and I am wondering about the level of difficulty and what is needed to do well in that class. I had one term of calculus and will be taking Statistics in Fall 2010. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

I thought you asked when his exams were, not how. Sorry, haha.

Since I’m taking the class too, I don’t know how his tests are constructed. I did look him up (since he teaches at CSUN), and apparently his tests are pretty difficult. A lot of people flunk, but since he does that z-score grading thing, people end up with pretty decent/good grades.

sheep55, I know the question wasn’t addressed to me, but first half is all stats 10 material so you should be fine. We haven’t covered anything beyond that YET.

Curtains, thanks for the answer! So his tests are very difficult but he curves the grades? I am quite worried since I have to be done with all my pre-psychology prep classes by Spring 2011 ( that’s when I have to apply to the School Of Psychology) so I really can’t afford to mess up.
