So I got stuck in spring semester, but I have a ton of AP credits. Do I send them to UMD although I'm in spring or do I wait?

Also, how are grades calculated for those courses. For the Psychology LEP, I need these reqs:
PSYC 100 with a grade of B or higher
MATH 111 or 220 or 140 with a grade of C or higher
If AP or IB credit for PSYC 100, must take PSYC 221 and earn a grade of B or
higher
BSCI 105 or BSCI 106 or PHYS 121 or CHEM 131/132 (formerly CHEM 103)
with a grade of C or higher

If I have AP credit, I knock out Math 220, 140, and I knock out BSCI 105. But what grade do I get in those courses? I need a C or higher, but I just have a credit. How are AP grades calculated?

There are no grades calculated for AP credits. They count as “credits” on your UMD transcript. You should go ahead and have collegeboard send your scores after this year’s AP’s. Since you only get AP credits if you have satisfactory scores, that’s how they say you’ve met the prerequisites. (I’m guessing that they’d see a 5 as an A, 4 as B, etc.) Most AP credits are given based on a 4 or 5 on the tests, with a few exceptions.

In addition to credit hours (which will come in handy in the subsequent registration periods at UMD—i.e. all registrations after your first one), the AP credit chart shows which CORE requirements that they can also meet.

Thanks for that info. I do not see anything about fulfilling core Psych requirements in the AP chart. Can anyone clarify if it fulfils the requirements?
