Anyone a psych major that applied to cal poly and has already received acceptance??
I have seen one acceptance, 4700 MCA…we are waiting too.

Refer to thread on how to calculate MCA score. My daughter has a 4750, still no word. As it turns out, I think Psyc is rather difficult to get into due to the sheer number of applicants and limited openings. What’s unavailable is the yield on Psyc, it could be lower then the Eng/Science majors, I hope so!
I’m a transfer student. Is your daughter as well? Or is she coming straight from high school?
You’re a psych major? And I’m transferring in as a junior so I don’t know if that makes a difference when I find out.
A friend of mine was accepted a week ago, 35 ACT, 4.0~ GPA, but I don’t know much beyond that in terms of MCA Calculation (though I am sure she’d get all the bonus points for academic rigor)

D rejected for Psyc/Sociology FR App MCA 4750, 1400 SAT 4.3 W.
Yeah I got rejected too 
but everything happens for a reason, and if it wasn’t meant to be, a greater opportunity will come up.
