I am an incoming freshman interested in taking Psych 1. I thought this was a good class to take bc it fullfills the living world sector and i thought that it sounded like an easy class. Now i heard that the class has a big curve and that it is very difficult to get an a in the class. Is this a hard class with a tough curve? Is it the same as ap psych? how is professor rozin? what would be a better living world class? If you have taken this class please share your experience.

“How is Professor Rozin?”

…Ummmmm, I’d tell you but I don’t think many people on CC (probably about .000001%) go to your school, nevertheless had Professor Rozin

^ comment was totally unnecessary.

i would suggest looking at penn course review.

Sorry. I thought you meant you were an incoming high school freshman, not a UPenn fresh. Sorry, I don’t really know what I was thinking (or what section you posted in). My bad.

Your tests are open book with Rozin and most of my friends who took the course got an A or A-. If you keep up with the readings you should do fine. The material is very easy and the curve isn’t deflationary. The curve helps you if everyone does poorly on an exam, but won’t hurt you if everyone gets above a 90%.

go on like ratemyprofessor.com to find reviews on Rozin

thanks for the response venkat…also rozin was not on rate my professors
