<p>I'm waitlisted for psych160...number 98.</p>
<p>There's 170 people on the waitlist and 59 seats available in the class. </p>
<p>Do I have any chance of being enrolled or should I just take myself off the list.</p>
<p>The psych department often contracts the number of available seats after all psych majors that want into a class get in. That means that if you are not a declared psych major, it's next to impossible for you to enroll in any upper div psych classes.</p>
<p>That's why I'm taking it right now. There's no waiting list at all, and since it's taught by a GSI who does research for Prof. Chen, I don't think there are any significant differences in how the class is run/graded.</p>
