<p>I am interested in pursuing a graduate degree/eventual PHD in Psychological Sciences from UT Dallas. I have a 3.75 GPA, with a 3.9 in psychology and child development classes. I hope to get my general GPA up to a 3.8 before graduating in May. I am also taking the GRE in November and have some professors and psychology club organization mentors in mind to give me letters of recommendation.</p>
<p>How competitive is the PHD program and the Master's program? I worry that my lack of actual research in a real lab will hinder me. I participated in the Be Project, which studies dating violence and does activities around campus to raise awareness about the subject, but I'm not sure if that's good enough.</p>
<p>Any advice or anything else that you know about the program would be helpful.</p>
