Hello um i was wondering if u guys could give me feedback on psych 1 with francis...i am taking math1A and chem1A and was wondering if i take psych and a seminar...would it be a hard semester? also if u had ideas on the workload...tests...teaching style i would REALLY appreciate it! thanks

We have very similar schedules! I will be taking psych 1 with francis too, as well as math 54, chem 4b, phys 7c, and a seminar (hopefully I'll get in). I don't know if I'll make it off the waitlist, but I also want to take classics 28 (mythology). This comes out to 20 units and could easily be considered academic masochism, so I'm not going to suggest that you follow my lead. However, I heard that psych 1 is relatively easy and that everybody who wants an A gets one. Francis fares well on ratemyprofessors.com. People generally seem to find chem 1a fairly difficult, and math 1a really depends on your background -- it can be devastating for the unprepared, and a cakewalk for others. I can't tell you more than that but I figured I'd say what I could because I just asked a question myself and wanted to give back to the community, and your post was lonely on page two without a single reply. Hope I helped!

haha yea it is a lonely post....see i was thinking the same thing....francis has really good reviews on ratemyprofessor.com...i think i will just go with it...and hopefully it will all work out. i think my two main classes with be chem 1A and math1A because i have heard that they are difficult. But ur workload seems much heavier...but yey at least were in one class together :D
