Right now im double majoring in psych and geography and i'm thinking im probably going to replace geography with a more practical major. I can't figure out which one I want, who makes more money, and has a better job outlook, accounting or finance? And what kind of jobs can you get with either. Finally, which one will psychology work best with?

First off look at the economy
Second off figure are you VERY good in math?! If yes then accounting or finance are a go or just major in math itself. If not then look into marketing or management.
Third off a double major in business & psych doesn't sound too bad if its HR & public sector.
Lastly decide rather you want to work in finance and apply for a sector that will accept you.

I think psychology is an excellent double major pick regardless of what field you want to be in. I think this because it helps you work with people, understand their motivations, and interpret their actions. In this manner you will be better trained to manage and to get the most out of people.

As for what major you should pair with it? IMO, anything that will get you working with people. I wouldn't worry about which one makes more money, because you can make a lot of money in any field. Just look to what you like.

finance. use psychology and become a good trader ;p

I'm not certain what I want to do, I keep my options open. What I do know is that I want to continue studying psychology into grad school. However this will be expensive plus the loans I already owe. I think I will choose economics as my second major. I don't know much about it, other then its about economy and mananging resources, and that sounds interesting while being practical. Opinions?
