I am planning on attending Penn State in the fall and was figuring out what my plan should be. I know it's a bit early but I just want a set idea so I don't freak out with all the options.

Okay, so I plan on going to med school after I receive my bachelor's degree. As of right now, I would love to specialize in Psychiatry and Neurosurgery.

My set major is a B.S. in Psychology with the Neuroscience option. (Penn State gives B.S. Psych majors 4 options in specialties). With this major, I would of course have to fulfill the pre-med requisites as well. Regarding my minor, I was thinking of a Bioethics and Medical Humanities Minor. I'm also planning on minoring in Dance because it's my passion (even though it has nothing to do with my career plan. It's just a part of me that I can't leave behind).
Is the BMH minor a good plan for me to go to med school? In my opinion, it would really give me an edge for med school because I will have all my pre med classes done as well as these ethics courses plus my psych degree.

Oooor should I minor in something like Biology or Biochem and Microbiology? Thanks for the help. :)
