Hi there!

I'm TAGing to UC Davis as a safety, but I'm really shooting for acceptance at UC Berkeley or UCLA. Applications are due in November and I'm getting a bit antsy... I'm currently attending a California community college.

MAJOR: Psychology
ACT/SAT: Never had to take these... (Woo!)
AP: Score of 3 in World History.
UC-Transferrable GPA: 3.81
Overall GPA: 3.71 (This is due to one non-transferrable, 5-unit math course I got a B in. Grr...)
IGETC: Will be completed before transfer.
PREREQs: Will also be completed before transfer.
Demographics: White female, lived in California entire life. Family makes about 290k a year, household of 6.
ECs/subjective: I work as a paid Student Assistant for the California Board of Psychology (about 23 hrs/week), Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society member, volunteer for Sacramento Sheriff's Department (undercover decoy who attempts to purchase tobacco products as a minor in Sacramento area, write formal papers, testify as needed), high school dance team experience (have a varsity award from it), ballet/contemporary dancer for 5 years (about 4 hrs/week). I wish there was more I could list, but this is all I have been able to do. I'm looking into joining my school's Psychology Club before I submit my application.
Essay: 9/10, but I'm still working on it. So far, I'm proud. I talked about how my experience with a divorced family/broken home influenced my interest in psychology (Without sounding whiny! Because no one likes that).

Comments: I also want to mention that I tested out of high school at the age of 15 by passing the California Proficiency Exam... I was awarded a Certificate of Proficiency which allowed me to leave high school immediately after my sophomore year and start community college. So, that means I started college at 15/16 and will be transferring as a junior at 18. I mentioned this in my essay... I feel like it's noteworthy and may help me stand out.

My awesome counselor told me he thought I had a good shot, but I'm still pretty nervous! Thanks! :-)
